​Zero Tolerance Drug and Alcohol Policy

​Company Name: Independent Service LLC

Effective Date: April 8, 2026

​1. Purpose and Scope

​Independent Service LLC is committed to maintaining a safe, healthy, and productive environment. This Zero Tolerance Policy applies to all employees, independent contractors, subcontractors, renters, tenants, and leaseholders.

​2. Prohibited Conduct

​The use, possession, sale, distribution, or manufacture of illegal drugs or controlled substances is strictly prohibited. This includes being under the influence of any impairing substance while on company property or any job site under the management or ownership of Independent Service LLC.

​3. Non-Exemption and Applicability

​Failure to sign this policy, or a claim of lack of knowledge regarding this policy, does not omit or excuse any individual from being subject to its terms and consequences. * Constructive Notice: The commencement of work, the signing of a lease, or the physical presence of any contractor, employee, or tenant on a managed job site or property constitutes acceptance of this policy.

​Universal Enforcement: This policy is a fundamental requirement for presence on Independent Service LLC properties. Ignorance of these rules shall not be a valid defense.

​4. Inspections and Testing Requirements

​To ensure compliance and safety, Independent Service LLC reserves the right to conduct the following:

​Random Testing: The company may, at its sole discretion, require any employee, contractor, subcontractor, tenant, lessee, or renter to undergo drug or alcohol testing at any time, without prior notice.

​Reasonable Suspicion: Testing based on observable evidence of impairment, erratic behavior, or safety violations.

​Post-Accident/Incident: Mandatory testing following any workplace accident, injury, property damage, or reported disturbance on managed premises.

​Property Inspections: The right to inspect all job sites and company-owned properties for prohibited substances or paraphernalia.

​5. Consequences of Violation

​Independent Service LLC maintains a Zero Tolerance stance. Any violation, or a refusal to submit to testing, will result in immediate action:

​Employees: Immediate termination of employment.

​Subcontractors/Contractors: Immediate termination of contract and permanent removal from all job sites.

​Tenants/Renters/Lessees: Immediate lease termination or eviction.
